Profile

Wiyadathawin has been practicing law and providing legal services since 2007. She began her career in the corporate and commercial departments of international law firms (US-based, Singapore-based and Thai-based) in Thailand, advising on contracts, corporate and compliance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital markets and foreign direct investment.

Wiyadathawin joined ONE Law in January 2024 as a Partner in commercial and corporate practice. Her areas of expertise include contract drafting, corporate and compliance advisory, M&A transactions, foreign investment, family business restructuring, and IPO preparation.

• Advised Thai international school operators on group restructuring for legal and tax planning.
• Advised a Thai insurance broker on acquiring minority interests (≤20%) in SME companies in Thailand as part of IPO strategy.
• Represented a Thai e-commerce operator in disposing of 25% equity to a German media company.
• Represented a Japanese voice coils and bobbins operator in acquiring 49% of a Thai manufacturing firm.
• Represented a Thai-based Norway company in its petroleum pipeline expansion JV with a top oil company.
• Represented an Indian medical device company in acquiring 70% of a Thai operator in the same field.
• Represented a Thai car rental company in the sale of 50% shares to a Malaysian auto trading platform.
• Represented a Chinese agriculture operator in acquiring a Thai freeze-dried durian exporter in the south.
